sounds like the safety door sensors are at fault, also did you reprogram the remotes by pressing the smart button on the logic board, when the safety sensors are bad the door will reverse to open state.you can pully the rip cord to manualy close the door untill you solve the problem.

Try to remove the power cord. Be careful if you have to climb a ladder! Reinsert.
Here are instructions for vacation mode:
If you have a three buttom wall panel, one of the small buttons should be the lock button, push this button and hold it for a couple of seconds until the LED on the wall panel stops blinking.
Good Luck!

I have had a similar problem related to my doors when they get cold-soaked. The tracks actually warp a little throwing the sensors off and causing the door to bind. The door will go down a bit then come back up. I overcame this be resetting the force that the motor puts out to lower the door and it works fine now. If you can wait for things to warm up, use the manual release lever and lower the door by hand and then reset the lever so the door can't be opened manually.

this probably means you have a bad photo eye if you happen to have to doors side by side may be picking up on other sides photo eye just switch sides from left to right, however if the lights are coming on but does not mean that photo eye is not bad it has a small circuit board inside of it...

Most likely your door sensors are out of alignment. Make sure they are pointed directly at one another.
