Question about Sharp Aquos LC-37GD6U 37 in. LCD HDTV
I have a 32 inch flat screen tv by Polaroid that when you turn it on by the remote or the tv button, the blue light come on but the tv doesn't. So what I did is un-plug the tv leave off for a few minute, plug back and the tv would come on but the sound loud and a lot of garbage sounds off.
That would last for about 10 min. and it would go away and the tv would be fine as long as I leave it on. This happen about (3) days in a row, now the tv does not come on at all.
Can this be fix? We have had the tv for (3) years this year.
Hope you can help me.

It can be fixed. I had this problem almost a year ago. I did an extensive search online and found a solution. Apparently there's a couple of caps that need to be replaced. The tv is manufactured in Southeast Asia where they use cheap parts. They know the tv will go bad in about a year or so but i'm sure they could care less.
I went to Radio Shack and purschased two caps and a soldering kit for $13. That's all it took to fix it. Keep trying to find it on the web again with no luck. It had step by step instructions. If you just unscrew the back you'll be able to find the bad caps, desolder, and replace with the new caps.
