Can mot. talkabout mod T5920 meet 2013 narrow band requirements?

  • Yes, both those model Motorola Talk Around radios are capable of narrow channel spacing. You will have to take them to a tech to have the radios converted and apply for a new license but you do not need to get new radios.

Motorola FV200R Talkabout dosent turn on

Yes, it is likely you need new battery packs. The Li-Ion batteries have a 12-18 month life expectancy. They will sometimes go longer if the radios are charged and depleted at least once a month. This style battery should be available from your local Motorola dealer on online at Motorola.
