Need radio lock code for 97 pontiac sunfire 2.2l 4 cylinder engine

You can visit the GMC dealer to get the code. All you need is your VIN#. It may cost a little, but it's worth getting the right code. Hope this helps

I just bought a 2001 sunfire but the radio is locked how do i unlock the radio?

You can usually visit your local dealer. They will need to VIN# to pull up your code. Might cost a little, but usually less that buying a new radio.

I have a 1995 pontiac bonneville with a tape player radio and it is locked, I cant get the code because my dealer closed and I dont have the money to take it to another one to hook to a computer. Would...

You will have to contact a dealer or GM directly with a VIN number, that is the only way to get the code, dealer does not have to connect it to a computer to give you a code if that is what they said than it is a pure lie and it the radio and a vehicle are legit than you shouldn't have a problem.

I have a rds radio in the sunfire 2000 and i am not unluck because theftlock help please

You are going to have to go to a dealer and have the system re-programmed. Normally if you remove the battery for a period of time (30 min or more) the anti-theft system does not have power to sustain the chip inside of the radio that allows you to cut the radio on. This was developed to prevent some one from stealing your radio and using it. Under normal circumstances, a 9-V battery is put across the neg and pos terminals of the battery cables if the battery is to stay out of the car for more than 30 minutes. There is a capacitor in the radio that will hod a charge for about 30 min on that chip that contains the instructions for the radio, but starts bleeding off.

Again the dealer is the only way to reprogram that radio. They have the equipment and the codes.

Need code to restart my Kenwood radio KVT 512...just bought the car & needed a new battery. After replacing the old bAttery noticed my radio is now asking for a pass code which the dealer doesn't...

Its possible that you need to visit the car dealer; generally, the "lock code" is in the last page from owners manual, if not, sometimes need to pay the autoshop or delaer for this sevrice.

Good luck.

I changed my battery in my 2004 Honda Odyssey and now i need the radio code because the radio code card was lost my VIN number is 5FNRL18994B073236

there is no site or organization willing to give you a stereo code for free. Some amount of money will be charged in exchange for the radio code.

Radio unlock code can be gotten from the below link:

Also the process to follow in order to successfully unlock the stereo is stated in the link.

In addition this link claims to generate stereo unlock codes for free, you can give it a trail as it might work for you.

Good luck.

The radio on my 1998 sunfire is licked , I need a code does any one know it.

You need to call the dealer and give them your vin number. the code is different for all radio's.

Some times the number is on a little sticker under the truck lid some where.

I have a Pontiac radio that locked when I disconnected the battery. I do not known the code to unlock the radio.

First check the owners manual in the glove box. If theres one there.

Otherwise, normally you can goto a pontiac dealer and bring the radio uninstalled, or copy the top where all the info is and your registration/VIN#. They should be able to tell you the code. Or try a local car audio dealer. If it takes them minimal effort (by you doing all the work) they shouldn't charge you..Or throw them a fiver because you'll know the code for your radio forever..

Audi a6 radio code

Get the VIN# from your vehicle and contact your nearest AUDI dealer. They will have your code on file and can give it to you over the phone.
