Sony ericson 58i can't scroll!!!

One of the major warnings Apple includes with all of its iPods is the permanent hearing damage that could occur if you have the volume on your iPod turned up too high.

To help combat the problem, the iPod comes with a feature that allows you to set a maximum volume level that your iPod can be played at that level is controlled by a combination that can keep others namely children from turning the volume up to dangerous levels.

The good news is, if that combination falls into the wrong hands, it can be reset.

Use your iPod's click wheel to scroll down to "Settings."

Press the center button located in the middle of the click wheel to select the settings menu.

Scroll down to "Playback" and press the center button to select it.

Scroll to "Volume Limit" and press the center button to select it.

Use the click wheel to scroll to the first number of the old combination and press the center button to select it.

Repeat this process for all four numbers of the old combination.

Use the click wheel to scroll to where you want the maximum volume to be set and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to scroll to "Lock" and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to enter the first number of the new combination when the message "Enter New Combination" appears on the screen repeat the process for the three remaining numbers.

Once the four numbers have been entered, your iPod's maximum volume will be set and your password will be changed.

1. Switch on camera.
2. Press MODE button to access the Set Up menu.
3. Use Multi Selector button to select the spanner icon.
4.Menus will be displayed in Text or Icons.
4.1. If in Text just scroll down to Language and click OK then scroll toEnglish and click OK _done.
4.2. If menus are in Icons scroll down to a FLAG Icon and click OK then scroll to English and click OK.

1. Press <ON/OFF> button to power on the machine.

4. Use the Easy-Scroll Wheel or cursor keys to select the Device Settings icon. Press <OK>.

5. Press the Down key four (4) times. Press <OK>.

6. Use the Easy-Scroll Wheel or Up/Down keys to select 'English', then press <OK>. Proceed to the next section to verify the settings


Verify the settings
1. Press the <HOME> button


2. Use the Easy-Scroll Wheel or the or buttons to select 'Copy', then press the <OK> button.

3. Use the Easy-Scroll Wheel or the button to highlight the page size (item <4> below) and press the <OK> button.

4. Use the Easy-Scroll Wheel or the or buttons to view the page size options. The options available for page size are A5, B5, A4, 8.5" x 11" (215 x 279), 5" x 7" (127 x 177.8), 4" x 6" (101.6 x 152.4) and Credit Card (if Auto sheet feeder is selected for paper source , item <3> above).

Enter the main menu by pressing the centre button, then highlight Settings and press Select (Figure 3). Scroll down to highlight Locks and press Select (Figure 4). Scroll down again to highlight Automatic keylock and press Select (Figure 5). Now choose On and press Select (Figure 6).
For added security, you can set your phone to lock with a numerical code. This means that if you should lose your phone, it will require a passcode to be switched on again. You have three options: On, Automatic and Off. ‘On’ means that you will be required to enter the passcode every time the phone is switched on, where as ‘Automatic’ will only require a password if the SIM is changed.
To activate any of these functions, hit the centre button to enter the main menu, then scroll down to the Settings icon and press Select. Now scroll straight down to Locks, press Select, then choose Phone lock and press Select (Figure 7). Before you begin, you’ll need to change the code to something only you know (Figure 8). By default the Phone lock code is set to ‘0000’ so highlight Change code and press Select, then enter ‘0000’ and press OK. Now you’ll need to enter a new code twice in order to activate it (Figure 9).
Once you’ve changed the code scroll up to Protection. Press Select to adjust the protection level (Figure 10). Choose from On, Automatic and Off, then press Select (Figure 11). You’ll be required to enter your passcode to continue, then you’ll see a confirmation message.

You have the option of using Master Reset or Master Clear to reset settings, and remove information.
Master Reset resets all settings on device to factory default.
Master Clear resets all settings to factory default, plus clears all data from the device including: PIM data, Call History, Settings, etc.
To perform a Master Reset or Master Clear:

1. Press Start.
   
2. Scroll to and select System Tools.
3. Scroll to and select either Master Reset or Master Clear.
4. Press Yes when Alert appears.
5. Enter Master Code (normally 000000).
