I have a ps2 older version, and I can not get the vibration function to work. I have bought new contollers thinking that my kids somehow busted them but the new controllers still dont vibrate. I have checked the game settings and the vibration feature is turned on. After doing this i still don't have the function. please help me!!!
I have the same problem.

If you take the ps2 apart there is a unit which can come out that the controlers and memeory cards hook up to. Well this comes out once seperated from the ribbon and is replacable. I found this out by calling Sony and ordering the part. Call Sony helpline and be persistant. It is expensive and would have been cheaper to have it done proffessionaly, or get a used one...late
