Question about British Telecom Synergy 2110 Cordless Phone

BT Synergy 2150 Cordless Phone

I have a base station and 1 extra handset. I have a continuous flashing new call icon on the display panel, and the "In Use" green light flashes continuously on the base station. I have done factory reset of the phone but this does not resolve the problem. I have a user guide but it does not mention anything regarding this problem. I look forward to receiving your response and possible solution.

As far as I can understand your problem, there is nothing wrong, just view the new calls ( options/caller id/options/view/ up and down arrows to scroll through caller id's). New calls message will then disappear, although it doesn't really matter if you don't do any of this.

Try opening handset and disconnecting the battery, then reconnect, This worked for me..

Usually just re-cradle the handset for a minute. otherwise cradle and unplug for a minute, then repower the base.

No actual idea, but check user manual, go to BT website and check there (esp FAQs). Do BT have a customer helpline?

Why does my Phone handset says no link to base please check base?

Charge handset

Make sure there are not other signals interfering with the phone (wifi router).

Check to see if base and handset are on the same channel.

Base unit on bt synergy 3505 keeps beeping and handset keeps displaying base 1 and losing signal.... intermitent fault....have changed batteries in handset and switched unit on and off but still not...

If the handset displays 'Searching', 'Base' or 'Range out' on the screen, this indicates that the handset has lost its link with the base. The following procedure should be followed to help resolve the problem:
  • Confirm that the power lead has not been inadvertently disconnected from the base.
  • Ensure that the handset batteries are correctly installed and are fully charged.
  • Ensure that the handset and base are within range of each other.
  • Switch the mains power off, wait five seconds and then turn it on again. This will reset your product.
  • Carry out a reset procedure on both the handset and the base to return the settings back to the factory default. Your user guide will guide you through the correct procedure.
  • If none of the above remedies solve your problem, please contact the helpdesk.

I have a bt synergy 2110 cordless phone. There are 3 lights on the right hand side. one for power/in use, one for charging one for new call . All3 are lit up. How do i get the "new call " light to go out...

I may have a solution you can try.

1. Take handset out of cradle.
2. Press and hold bottom, right hand side, bottom button, marked "Calls"
3. Hold until "Display" shows number of calls, usually 10 and makes a bleep-type noise.
4. Now press top left button, marked "Del" in red, until the display scrolls through all 10 numbers and deletes all the numbers stored in the memory. The phone should then make a bleep noise.
5. Press "red handset symbol" (finish call) twice.
6. Replace handset onto cradle and the "new call light" should go out.

You should now be able to make calls.

BT Studio 3100 handset 1. Display flashing base 1, cannot go to setup menu, not changed pin code, turned off and on, removed batteries, turned off base unit, waited 20-30secs for all of above and still...

My Bt Studio 3100 cordless telephone ( 2 Pack ). I have carried out the setting up procedures as per instructions.
Handset batteries are fully charged, but I am not getting the dialling tone.

If the second handset works ok on the base and the first handset doesn't, then you are right...the fault lies with the first handset. There are batteries ( special type ) in the handset, it sound as if either the batteries are dead, or not charged ( try charging them for 12 hours on the good base station ) or the connection is bad.
