Question about HP Photosmart 8750 InkJet Printer
Photosmart 8750 prints the photographs on cards, beautifully. When you print the message on the inside, it produces half a dozen straight scored lines on the glossy side. HP says this is caused by XP SP3 & to remove it & go back to SP2 but my son has the same printer & SP3, which doesn't cause the scratches. What to do?
Unfortunately, you may have to revert back to SP2. the thing with sp3 is that it can act and work completely different from computer to computer depending on what software you have installed on it and what build of XP you have (ie home/pro) The only other alternative is to uninstall software, reboot and see if the problem persists. this way you may be able to find the program interfering with the performance of your printer.
