Lg6000 scarlett 47

I bought this tv 3 weeks ago and av 1 stopped working so i started to use av 2 but after a couple of days that stopped so i took the tv back and got it replaced i just wondered if you knew this was a common fault with lg LCD TVs.

I bought a 47lg6000 scarlet around six months ago. After a while AV1 stopped working, all I got was a black screen and "no signal" message. After a week the AV3 in stopped working, and about one month ago the same happened to AV2. So now i cant use any analog equipment. Is this a common problem with these TVs? Is there any way to fix this except to get a new one?

Most likely it is not the TV; it's a grounding problem. Are all your devices plugged into the same power strip? They should be. Can you plug that power strip in to another outlet in the wall (even with an extension cord, just for testing purposes)? If that removes the lines, leave it plugged in there. If you can't leave it plugged in there, you'll need an isolator like the Jensen VRD-1FF or similar.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: LG 47LC7DF LCD TV Remote Sensor not working

IR senor may not be bad. Try using a different remote (universal) and program to TV. If universal remote works and your doesn't, you may need to purchase a remote instead of IR board. If you confirmed that the IR board is bad then replacing the IR board will fix the remote issue. IR board is an easy fix. Just open the back cover out and it's located right in the middle toward the bottom of the TV.

change out the LVDS cable (the cable that go from the control board to the main board) and it should resolve your problem. If your TV is still in warranty, call 1-877-MY-VIZIO and they will set up an in home repair for free.

I have the same TV and I just replaced the Capacitors. It came with 2 10000UF 10V caps and I put in 2 1000UF 35Volt caps from radio shack. Its like brand new. There is even a video on how to change them on You Tube.

Seal deal w/ ours. I took it apart and the power supply board had the burn marks on it. Just ordered another power supply board (pn: 272217100571) for ~ $100. TV back panel comes off fairly easily to get at boards.

Good Morning

On your tv there is one board that takes all those inputs and decides which to display to the the screen. It is not uncommon for these to go bad and one input or another will no longer work.

These boards can be replaced and are available most days on shopjimmy or ebay, However most people just use the inputs that still function until the tv dies.

Wish I had better news but that appears to be your problem

Have a great weekend

either the remote is bad or on the tv the circuit board at has the remote receiver on it is bad. If you bought it new and it has a warranty contact them for service. If not you could try programming a universal remote to see if it will work your set.

Samsung 40" flat screen looses sound

this problem started on my LN-S4051D a couple of years ago. eventually the sound stopped working altogether. I then started using my surround sound speakers for the TV via optical out but soon that stopped working as well. I recently took the TV to a repair shop who said that the main board is bad and needs to be replaced. Labor plus parts was going to cost me $400. I said no thanks and paid for the estimate. Good luck.

Samsung sp-r4232 power button blinks 4 times but tv wont turn on

I have this TV. My father in law tried to turn it on one day and it started making a clicking sound and never came on. So he went out and bought a new tv and gave it to me. It came on when I brought it home and worked for a couple weeks. Then just the other day it stopped working. When you hit the power button the light around it blinks four times and then you here a clicking sound. TV does not come on. Took the back panel off and I don't see any damaged caps or fuses. b435b80e-6d09-419f-a021-9b8a430e0a74.jpg
