You should clean the card contacts and the camera contacts, use some kitchen paper with alcool. Good Luck

At this point it sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to card setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the card and it can be used again. Make sure you download all images prior to formatting as once the card is cleared all data is lost.

My olympus fe-130 keeps saying card error. I was taking photo's & then that appeared on the screen. It won't allow me to retrieve my photo's. The camera works fine when the card is out.
Most likely ur card is corrupt. take the card out and there should be tiny slider on the side of the card with arrow showing in one direction. ur card , slide it from where it is to the other side and see if u can retrieve ur photos or make it to work again. even if it works again , take ur photos out and format the card before u use it again.

My old Olympus C4040 is also having major battery issues (going on 5 years of...
Many digital cameras (eg Samsung D53, Nikon 2100) have extremely poor battery life with alkaline batteries (under 20 shots!). Sometimes they won't even take a single picture.

Try using rechargeable batteries or "oxyride" disposable batteries. They perform infinately better.

Got new olympus memory card, keeps saying card error
Is the memory card the correct capacity? Is it too "big"? ie is it say a 8 gig and maybe your camera only supports 4 gig? I had that problem with my camera-I had bought a memory card which was too high in capacity for it. Check your user manual for the cards and capacity you can use.

Picture error
I would recheck all of my settings on the camera. Go to the menu and check everything one by one. Your card may be damaged also. Do you have another card to try? Do you have your manual? If not you can to to www.olympus.com to download a new manual specifically for your camera and it may address this issue. Good luck.

2gb type M card in c-150 card error keeps appearing
The problem is that the largest xD card that your camera can support is a 256mb xD card as long as there is no letter M or H in from t of the 256mb. The 1gb or 2gb cards are not compatible.

Card errro
Sometimes the card can get a little bit of dirt on it which has caused this error message to appear on my camera.  Just take the card out and carefully wipe the metal contacts at the bottom with mentholated sprits or another cleaner.  This did the trick for me.  
It could be a card problem in which case I would see if the same message comes up when a different card is placed in.
