There should be a volume button on your bluetooth, or you have turned your volume down on your phone, which is most likely, thats what i had done, crazy huh.

My h710 is on mute, i can hear but no one can hear me

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. The reason why the other line can not hear you is just because your in MUTE mode. In order for them to hear you speaking on the other line, you have to unmute your call. To do that, you just have to tap both volume control until you hear the mute tone.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for using Fixya,

The volume is extremely low when I make a call. It didn't used to be like this. Pressing the up volume button helps, a little bit, but barely.

I can hear but people can't hear me

Try to unmute the headset. This may be your problem. The mute function is enabled through the volume buttons. Simply tap both volume buttons at the same time until you hear a mute tone. The mute tone when unmuting the call will be a descending tone. When you tap both volume buttons, if you hear a descending tone you have just disabled the mute function and your problem is solved. If the mute tone is ascending tones you have just enable the mute function and this was not the issue. If this is the case consult your user manual or contact Motorola for trouble shooting.

I can hear people on my H710 bluetooth but they cant hear me. Have deleted and repaired a couple of times and it worked. Now it does not. I can still hear them however.

This is a common problem with the H710 and H715 which are essentially the same product. The microphone is failing or has failed. I have tried to find a replacement microphone on line but have not. I was thinking of calling Radio Shack to see if they carry.

When i try to talk threw my headset the other person cant hear me but i can hear my self talk on it

Could be that the headset has been muted by accident. To unmute, tap both volume buttons at the same time until you hear a tone or kind of beep.

My h710 will not go into pairing mode. I have tried holding down both volume buttons and call button but never goes into pairing mode. have not used this headset for over year

Make sure your phone is in discover as well. Also make sure your holding down all 3 buttons at the same time for at least 10 sec. then it should go into discovery.it will blink then go solid.
