Cannot get lexmark 1480 to connect with wifi to computer

I have a lexmark 4 in 1, and you need the disk to set it up, it requires the encryption key to be added in order to function, the easiest way is to hook it up wired first, then sert it up using the disk, it will tell you when to remove the wire from the router, and it will set itself up at that point. Mine works from all my machines and my iphone, if you don't have a router, you need to pick one up, I assum you do have one, good luck, and happy holiday, Gym

Can't print. Lexmark has an x by offline


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. My lexmark 5650 wont connect to my computer

Why isn't it scanning a document to my laptop


Make sure the Lexmark OCR scan software is installed on your laptop. The software is available only on the installation disc that came with your printer. If you still haven't installed the software on your computer and you don't have the installation disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center to request for one.

My wi fi orange light is blinking on my lexmark x4650 printer


The blinking WiFi light on your printer indicates either your printer is trying to communicate with your wireless network or your printer is not connected at all. For a quick fix, try to disconnect your printer from the power outlet. Power cycle your router and reboot your computer. Then, power on your router first, then your printer and lastly your computer. Check the WiFi light on your printer. If it goes to a solid green, that means you are connected back in your network. If not, you may reset your printer's wireless network adapter to its default settings. From the printer operator panel, press the Setup button > Network Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Default. Hi lexmark. we have basic lexmark printr/scannr -- model# 4690 --- The desktop pc which initially took the lexmark CD for config. is currently off site being repaired. OUR QUESTION IS.., well,we are ...


You will have to install the printer driver software on the other computer.
During install it should ask if the printer is a network printer or direct conncected -- click network connection.

You should be able to download the software package at Lexmark's website.
