Hi,
The problem came, went away by itself and came back shows it to be some loose contact between TCON board and panel or on the TCON board itself. Needs close examination.

Faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.
If the red haze is not convergence---that requires parts.
The set has three picture tubes---with set unplugged and back cover removed clean the three large lens that are topside---as for the red haze a quick way to know what is wrong is with set on turn the color to zero----what color is the screen? Should be black and white--if red to some degree tracking or screen controls may need adjusting inside the set---Yellow picture in that situation is a different issue.
If you purchased it new then this clearly should not happen - if it is second hand and therefore older then the red tube could be burnt out. The convergance may simply require allignment if the set has been knocked about trying to get it to its final resting place - this would need a tech on site to set it up.
The blue filter is burnt out. A very common problem in Zenith DLPs.
There are 3 color filters, 1 blue (a pinkish color), 1 green (a grayish
brown) and 1 red (it is red) they give you your colors for you picture.
This is a simple fix.
sorry silly girl seen this a hundred times!! The crt socket on the set needs to be carefully taken off and cleaned with wd-40 or tuner wash. its an intermittant connection on the screen contacts and the contacts that bias the grids.. It can be a green haze a blue haze or a red haze. Very common on 3 to 5 year old samsung tvs. Good Luck
