I have no current account, but I sent in a form for a Handyman subscription for my husband several months ago, and we've heard nothing yet. Can you help with this?

If this was for Handyman Club of America (and their magazine "Handy"), they have gone away. If this is for "Family Handyman", check to see if you subscribed to the Digital Edition, which is only online and you won't receive anything printed. Family Handyman subscription contact info is on this web page:

If you are referring to any other "Handyman" magazine, you might have to find their subscription contact info online.

I have made DVD's but I need to finalize them to play on regular DVD players for other family members. What do I have to do. I can get them to play on another computer but not on TV DVD players.

Copy the files on the DVD to a folder on your desktop after there all in there place a blank DVD in your rom. Open the folder u downloaded them in click "organize" "select all" then right click on any of the highlighted files send to DVDROM when they are transfered. There will be a notice by your clock stating you have files ready to burn. Click that and choice "burn". It will ask you if you want to play this DVD in DVD players use that option. Your done......

This is going to be foolish but work for a family with the Go Video 3840 and when i try to dub a home video onto a DVD I press record and it shows that both are playing and recording but nothing transfers...

This means your DVD or Video Cass is copyrited and has what is called microfilm coating . This keeps you from transfering video and audio from one device to the next.

How to transfer Panasonic DMR-E80H recorded DVDs to computer

I have to agree with XELIAM regarding finishing the disk, under the DVD "FUNCTIONS" selection from the remote. I also use the SLYSOFT products to transfer my videos to what ever other mode of video I wish to have, whether iPOD (MP4), or DIVX (AVI) or loads of other options. Slysoft makes a GREAT product

Cant transfer pics from phone to laptop

It is easy to transfer pictures from your cell phone to your PC. There are several ways to go about the transfer. The first is to connect your Motorola phone to your PC and transfer. You Motorola v220 phone come with a USB cord and compatible software on a CD as a welcome kit when you purchase the phone. Download this software on your hard drive; attach the USB to your cell phone on one end and to your PC on the other. Open the "removable device" Drive in "my computer" and copy the pictures to your PC.
Another way to transfer pictures from Motorola v220 to your PC is through Bluetooth device. For this purpose, both your PC and your phone should have a Bluetooth device. Put it on and an automatic request will be sent from your phone to PC. Accept the request and continue to transfer.

Create another DVD, using different type of disc from the one they are using. Some times DVD/Video players just don't recognize some discs not because there is any problem with them (players).

I am also having trouble making copies of the mini dvd from my camera - when I try to use nero software, it says I need Dolby Digital sound software. It would be nice to have an easy way to share home movies with family and friends by easily making copies of the dvd.
