Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
This is not a solution, but it isn't helpless info either like "push the button all the way".. the thing with our laptops (dv9000) it's that our chipset, nVidia, it is often too hot for the motherboard, that makes that something in it melt or something and stop working, unless you can get it fixed before everything else stop working you should get that fixed PRONTO.. right now i'm using a wireless internet d-link pendrive. try to get that fixed cause next thing it's going to stop working it's goig to be the entire motherboard.. and we don't want that to happen.. right?

In the front on the bottom left hand side you will see a switch for the wifi make sure that is pushed over all the way.
Sometimes it moves partically and it gives you the sense it's on but it's not.
