Nokia pc suite do not recognise dku50 data cable

Possible there are errors in the PC and so the phone is not recognised. You can transfer the pictures by removing the micro sd card and inserting on a card adapter to be directly read on the card reader on the laptop. If this is not possible you can activate bluetooth on the phone and laptop and get the files transferred easily after detection.
finally remove any programs particularly if a phone was installed earlier and reinstall the Phone.

Possible that the cable is faulty or that the phone soft ware is faulty. You can check the sd card for any corrrupt files, if so delete and reset phone.
If not the software needs a reinstallation if you have checked with a working cord tested on another phone.

You can transfer the contacts to your compauter via data cable through motorola phone tools pc suite then transfer it to ur nokia phone via data cable with help of nokia pc suite.

At the time of buying the Nokia mobile, we will get one cd in the pack to install in our Pc.
Please install that in the Pc. Then connect the mobile to the Pc using the USB available in the pack.Pc will recognise the mobile.

If the cd is not available in the pack then please download the Ovi suite of N95 from the follwoing link,

Select N95 model from the link and click the Nokia Ovi Suite version and download. Install that in the Pc.

For connecting the PC and the Mobile through the Data cable you have to use the Nokia PC suite which has to be installed in your PC.

You can download the PC suite form the below link as follows,

1.Install the PC suite to the PC
2.Access the mobile from the PC through the Data cable
3.Now can transfer the datas through the data cable from PC to Mobile and from Mobile to PC

for this you would need a few things handy before you start off. first move all your data like pictures and songs from the phone memory to the memory card. now you would need to have nokia pc suite installed on your pc and you would need a data cable compatible with your phone. keep your phone in general profile and make sure the battery is full. connect the phone to the computer. the computer would recognise and install the usb drivers for the phone. now open nokia pc suite and configure the phone. next click on backup phone data on the nokia pc suite main screen. now it would backup all your data from the phone like contacts, sms, settings etc onto your computer. next click on software update. the suite would search for the software (note: you need to be connected to the internet) and would turn up with the software for your phone. now the installation would proceed. once it is done, again click on backup and restore the data from pc to phone. the reformat is done!

after this i would advice you to be careful while you recieve data over bluetooth or data cable. accept data only from reliable sources.

i think the software of your phone has got corrupted due to some virus. it would be best to reinstall the softwareon your phone.
