Question about Sony VPL-CX75 Multimedia Projector
The reds do not come through at all on my Sony VPL-CX75. Does anyone have any idea where I should start in troubleshooting this problem?
SOURCE: will not turn on
I have just solved this problem. The solution for me was a capacitor in the second PCB of the primary power supply. The Cap was a 2200uf @ 10 volt. Once I replaced this the Projector powered up fine.

Press following keys on control panel for less then 5 seconds each..
RESET, <==, ==>, ENTER.

SOURCE: Sony Data Projector VPL CX75.
This may or may not be the solution to your problem, but i'll let you know anyway. Input settings are only accessible when you have a signal going into the projector. This is because the input settings are for adjusting the signal, therefore if there is no signal there is nothing to adjust.
