Re: power braker strip
The fridge is not a computer and should not be plugged into a gif or surge breaker. Plug it into and outlet!
Can not do this. Please remember to leave a solved rating before you leave our site.

Find the main braker to the house. Pull it out, or flip it off. It's probubly right above the fuse. Plug some thing in several outlets, to make sure all power is off. Then use a pare of needle nose pliers, to get the fuse out. Make sure all power is turned off to the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am guessing you mean you are using a 6 outlet breaker strip. you should not do that as they cant handle the starting of the refr. compressor. do not use any extension cords either, but if you must just get a "heavy" enough one that can handle 20 amps of load. also make sure you are not using any outlet that has a "gfci" these are not for use with appliances and should only be used when the outlet is close to a water source.
