2.) Then you can download games to your computer and copy them to the games directory on the Micro SD card.
3.) When you start the NDS, you will see the NDS Kernel bootscreen with on the upper screen in green : R4 - Revolution for DS. In the lower screen you will see three icons. Choos the left, which looks like a yellow and purple pacman.
4.) Select the game you want.
If you check the game files on the Micro SD card, you will see .nds files and .sav files.
The .sav files are the game results files and contain your personal games settings also. This file will be automatically created if you start the game the first time. If you delete it, your game start all over again with the default settings.

Stuck on Loading Screen
This usually indicates that the software kernel on the micro sd memory card has become corrupted. It can also happen if the micro sd memory card is overloaded with games, music and video files etc. The solution is to reinstall the kernel software on the micro sd card and ensure the micro sd memory card is not overloaded. Leave about 25% memory free.
download SDformatter and format the sd card with that, place all the files on there, none in folders..
Look on your card and go to the site that is on your card, when you have done that download the recent firmware for your card, take off the firmware you have on your card and put the new formware on your card, one by one, their should be three or four if you have a r4, that should solve the problem, the firmware was updated for the r4 recently to cure problems with nintendo stopping games from loading.
Insert your sd card into the computer/laptop using the sd card adapter and open the file then click on the file named games. Downlaod your games you want from online sites and put them into the folder named gamnes.here you can also delete the already existing games or even add music by creating a new folder called music not in the games folder though.
have you installed the R4 system data on the memory card from the R4 website? If all is well with the data on the card then you may have a connection problem between the sd card and R4 card or R4 card and ds. so investigate the cleanliness of the pins and the tightness of the cards in their sockets. Some copy DS lites are fussy and don't work well with smart cards. A new motherboard would cure this but it will cost you £50-60
Hi grecko, Hope this helps, I've just bought a 4gb memory card for my daughter's ds so she can fit 58-60 games instead of 28 on a 2gb memory card and have downloaded and put a file onto the memory card before loading games onto it.
Supercard DS one have a site where you can download the files you need and it gives help. Guess it's the same if using an R4 supercard too but I bought an R4 card for partner preloaded with software.
