Question about GE 19GT270 19" TV
I was recently given one of these TV from a motel who was replacing all
their sets, it is fantastic condition but I have a problem. It is set to there
model as the sound won't go higher than 30 and the menu goes to menu 2. Menu 1 is the one to turn in the stations.
Is there a way to get to the tuning option or reset to factory defaults? Please help if you can Cheers
Is there a way to unlock the satellite setting? no. Will we have to sign up for satellite for a month or so, so that we can unlock it? yes I do not know about your place I stay in INDIA & here unless you subscribe you can not see cable channels. Or are we just out of luck on this?

Many stations broadcast seperate audio channels to allow commentary or alternate languages to be heard if desired. If this setting has been altered in your television, it would explain why this happens on schedule, as it would be associated with the programming at that time. I recommend navigating your audio settings and looking for "SAP." If this is selected, turn it back to "Stereo," "Mono," or whatever other option is applicable to your audio setup.
Go Ahead. Use Us.

If your remote does not have a menue to access auto channel programing, look for it on the TV itself. It may be hiding behind a small panel door, usually toward the bottom of the tv.Once you find it you may have to figure out how to bring the screen up that has programing feature. The screens usually can be brought up by channel or volume controls. Once the auto programing feature appears you push or press ok. If that does not work you should be able to manually key in each channel, one at a time. There as many variations as tvs. Hope this helps. Good luck. Larry

The sets have bad eproms. They cause all kinds of problems. also the ground connections around the tuner and microprocessor and eprom need to be resoldered using a silver solder alloy.

Un mute the internal speakers or try hooking up externals. Go back to the 1 mute and hit enter. that should unmute the internals.
