Question about Yahoo Messenger
Set your firewall settings allowing yahoo messenger on the exceptions, and then go to control panel+network&internet connection+internet options+connections then click the LAN settings, uncheck the proxy server and check the automatic detect settings...good luck!

New 9.0 version: fix for sign-in issues

We released an updated version of Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 today (18.104.22.1688). This latest build includes a fix for the sign-in issues that have been affecting some users. If you were seeing an error code “81003005” when trying to sign in, this latest version should fix that problem. Even if you were experiencing a different kind of sign-in issue, we recommend installing this latest version.

Problem with yahoo messenger 81003005 with MC Afee antivirus. Simply disable it. Go to McAfee security then change settings then click internet and network configuration and disable firewall protection. Install yahoo messenger.

Error code means your firewall is blocking it. It's not yahoo, it's your firewall settings on your own computer
I found this answer on a website
to verify this try disabling your firewall and signing in.......if it works go into whatever firewall you are using and set it to allow Yahoo Messenger......hope this helps and if it does please rate :) ty

This message appear probably because of your computer proxy software by default change your connection properties.

Download and run ccleaner
Copy Yahoo message Archives to CD if you wish to retain them.
Download Revo uninstall tool
Close all programs - uninstall Yahoo Messenger using Revo in "Advanced" Mode - after Revo has run the Yahoo uninstall software, it will scan the registry and C drive for left-over fragments. Delete all the files it finds and check all the bold items from the registry scan, and delete them
Restart your computer
Download the latest version of Messenger here
