We put the batteries in but it does not come on

Take out the batteries. Also take out the backup battery. It is a button battery beneath the screw in the battery compartment. Check the button battery volts with a multi-meter. After 5 minutes put the button battery back in and then the fresh batteries. It might work now. Alternatively take out a battery, then hold the clear button and put the battery back in. Then try to turn on. If it still does not work take out a battery press the del button and put the battery back in.

Might be the camera's battery terminals, not the battery itself. Take a qtip and some isopropyl aclohol and clean the terminals in the battery well of camera.

Remove the cables, look for any bolts holding the battery there, there should be at least 2, loose them, pull out the battery, put the new one in, put the bolts on again and tighten them properly (not too hard). put on the cables again. Be sure to put the right cable on the right pole! if you put it on the wrong pole you will have a surprising, yet very nice to watch rain of sparks. some newer cars have the battery inside a box like thing, if you cant see the battery just by popping the hood, it should be inside a somewhat rectangular box. OKmheres what i did and it worked- 1-take battery out and charge fully 2-Put battery back in car but put positive battery cable on first-dont tighten up yet 3-put negative battery cable on battery dont tighten yet 4-wait 2-minutes 5-take positive cable end off,ho;d in hand 5-take negative cable end off battery ,hold this in other hand 6-now hold both cable end together for 30-seconds -now put battery cable back on battery-make sure you put Positive cable back on First,then negative cable next-tighten both up-Now go see if dash lights are on-then it should start!! if not,repeat cable procedure

Check the position of the batteries. Some camera require the batteries to put in (+)(+) positive-positive position if we see from above. Some other require the batteries to put in (+)(-) or (-)(+) or (-)(-).
Make sure you have put in the batteries in the right place.
Sometimes, unchargeable batteries will stay longer than chargeable batteries, You can try to insert that kind of batteries.

Some feature on your opener must have a switch that is stick in the closed (on) position. Possibly, you put a near dead battery into the device? Please check with a volt meter.

You could check the device with a volt/ohm meter in the circuit ... put the meter between the + post of the battery and the + contact of the device. Put a wire on the - battery and the - device to complete the circuit ... if you are using power, there should be some amp reading on the meter.

Hi!... I think your battery is very drained. Try to "shock" the battery first. If you have a DC supply at home, set the supply at 6-10V then Put the negative terminal wire to the negative terminal of the battery and in a snap put the Positive wire to the Positive Terminal of the Battery. Then put your battery back to your phone and charge it. It will probably be ok.

The batteries are put in so that the first battery positive end is down, the negative down second, and the positive end down last.
After you've put in the batteries (-+-).

Try connecting the battery before you put on the cover.

While the battery may be putting out 13 volts...it may not be putting out enough amps to turn the engine over...try charging/replacing the battery.
