Question about Televison & Video
I bought a Magnavox #E175216 converter box from Walmart. After hooking it up the picture is fine, but where I used to listen to the volumn at say 9 or 10 now I need to crank it to 25 to get the same sound. Is this a factor of a ''cheap'' box or do they all do this? Is there a way to correct the problem?
Some of those converter boxes have their own volume inside the box also. If your remote control for the converter box has its own volume control, try turning it up and then turn up the TV volume control use the TV remote. If this works you should see a volume indication on the screen of the TV for each of the attempts.
