The timer will not stay off on this unit. I have turned it off and hit reset, turned it back on and within seconds the timer is back on. It causes the air conditioner to turn on 85 degrees by afternoon which causes the upstairs to heat up. Not a good thing. Any suggestions out there as to how to turn this thing off and keep it off? Thanks!

Otherwise Amazon has them for $13.00.
What is the point of having a motion trigger on it then? Wire it direct to the switch or remove the sensing unit and turn it on at dusk and off at dawn using a timer.
Your lamp timer may be maxed out which means you should change the lamp and reset the lamp timer. When the timer max's out it won't turn on till it is reset.
How long do burners stay on? If they go out within a few seconds, the flame sensor may need to be cleaned. The control board you have shown is probably doing it's job by shutting down and something else is causing this. Always check your air filter first. More info needed.
Does the status light stay on red? If it does then the lamp timer has exspired and will not let the projector turn back on until it is reset, at which time you should replace the lamp. To reset the timer you need the remote control, with the unit plugged in in standby mode hold down the power off button for 30 to 45 seconds until the status light goes off.
James,
I have been researching this TV and found that many had motherboard issues with this exact problem. The fix was to replace it. I would contact LG support ASAP and get it to a service rep before the 1 year warranty runs out. Good luck!
