Problem for HP Compaq FP5315 (Black, Silver) 15" LCD Monitor
Moniter is black but has power
last night everything was fine, this morning black moniter, pc is on, re booted pc, unplugged power on power bar and plugged back in, ....nothing, 15 min utes later walked in my office and everything was normal....5 hrs. later...nothing...... is is the pc or the moniter

right click your desktop (when you can see it) and go to properties. Click the screen saver tab, CLick power button change the setting next to turn off monitor to Never. It sounds like the monitor is going into a sleep mode and not coming back out of it. Some monitors have this issue.
