Question about HP Compaq FP5315 15" LCD Monitor
Last night everything was fine, this morning black moniter, pc is on, re booted pc, unplugged power on power bar and plugged back in, ....nothing, 15 min utes later walked in my office and everything was normal....5 hrs. later...nothing...... is is the pc or the moniter
Its NOT the video card, because this is happening to me, and I thought it was the video card, so i went and purchased a new video card that cost 450 dollars and the monitor still does the same thing, even after rebooting the system and even re-installing the operating system Fresh and from scratch.
Its the monitor, something is wrong with it and i dont know what.

Right click your desktop (when you can see it) and go to properties. Click the screen saver tab, CLick power button change the setting next to turn off monitor to Never. It sounds like the monitor is going into a sleep mode and not coming back out of it. Some monitors have this issue.
