Just click on the link (or cut and paste it into your browser window), then when the page loads, click on the operating system that you are using. 1) Go to HP 1280 Support
There is a link there to detect to see if your printer has the correct driver. Click on it and see if it will install the Vista driver automatically.
2) You can download and install the driver manually by going to the same page above and click on "Download Drivers and Software". On the next page select your operating system...Vista.There is only one choice...the driver. Click on "Download". When the download window opens, select Save and save it to your Desktop. When the download is complete, run (double-click) the file on the desktop.
