Usually has to be on channel 3 then use the tv/vcr button on your remote.if you are already using this for a vcr then you need to program the dvd on another alternate.Best results is to get a universal remote and program tv/vcr/dvd seperate.

I think, after you have the rca jacks inserted into the tv and to the game you're playing, youshould be able to move the channel button down past channels 3 and 2. And or hit menu on the tv and look for setup. Try that!
the instructions are on the back of the remote. if lost. you have to:
1) Turn tv on ( i would suggest turning it off then on)
2) Press the Device you want to sync (tv)
3) Press and hold the setup button it will blink once...let it blink twice before you go to the next step.
4) press 9-9-1
5) press the power key on the remote
6) press the channel up (CH +) button repeatedly until the device (tv) turns off.
7) when it cuts off immedieately press the setup button.
You need the original remote controller to be able to switch input modes.Universal ones don't work. If you
don't have the original remote and can't find it ever then the only way to reach
your tv is through coaxial antenna port. So
you can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your red yellow
and white cables (rca cables from a dvd, game console
etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a
coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4
and other channels are still working,
You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670
You need the remote . Sorry to tell you this but you can go to www.replacementremotes.com to see if they have a cheap one for sale . Some universal remotes do not let you function your tv completely . Most of the time they just let you turn it on/off - volume up/down - and channel up/down . The exact remote is always the best. You never have to worry about codes ! Good luck
you should have a input select button on your remote. video 1 should be the front and video 2 should be the back. i had to buy 3 or 4 different universal remotes when mine messed up just to get the one button to change to change it to the inputs because there is no other way to change it to that with he buttons on the tv. kinda surprised that you didn't try and push that button yet.
