Question about Computers & Internet
I have 2 Samsung Syncmaster 173V monitors and they are displaying a mutlicoloured wave like pattern with or without VGA input. Backlight is fine and power rails appear to be good on both monitors. I have tried replacing electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board and the processor board but this does not fix the problem. As it is happening on both monitors I suspect it is a common fault
1. change the power supply out put capacitors.& main filter capacitor.
2. near 2 LOT 47mf / 250v cap.
3. degousing PTC
