I solved it!! Just hold down the Cancel button and I think it acts as the OK button. The red light will go away and turn green and it will print the odd pages. There you go!

I have tested this on a printer with the following versions:

OS Version - 1.01.00.78
Engine Version - 1.00.49
SPL Version - 5.07

I am using the original initial cartridge.

I think if you want to use a replacement cartridge, you have to disconnect CN5 and short out CN9. This way the toner will always be treated as the initial cartridge.

I am working on one of these right now for a customer. It is doing nearly the same thing. I am 99% sure it has bad capacitors in the power supply. I have removed the power supply board and found swelled and leaking caps. I will get them replaced to verify, but I am positive that is the solution. Your printer will need either a new/repaired power supply or have your existing power supply board repaired.

The problem is that the cartridge you re using was reloaded with toner, but the remanufacturing process did not include replacing the chip. The ML2150 and the 2151N do not read the toner's chip on boot, but the 2152W does. So you either have to get a cartridge that has a new chip or get a new, genuine, Samsung cartridge.

Hi, On another posting of a similar problem, I proposed this solution: In some instances, the PC switches off a USB port. You may have to un-check "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." This is in your Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers/USB Root Hub. Hope this be of some help/idea.
