Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I have a Optiarc CD-RW CRX880A ATA device for my DVD/CD-ROM drive.aka disc drive and when i go to put blank dvd's in it says "please insert blanck disc" i try to format the disc, but when i click on the drive it spits my disc (completly new) out before i can format or check the properties or anything!
its agrivating because HP themselves can't help, despite the fact that my one year warranty is up! thanks alot HP,
any solutions? i heard that it might just be the drive itself thats incapable of reading and writing dvds, but why is dvd rom and compact high speed disc rewritable writen up and down the drive! whats up with that?!!
Do you have software capable of writing to a DVD?
Its no good having a drive that can read a DVD - that is all it can do without software. I suspect that is why it is chucking your disc out!
If you have no software then look on the net for some free stuff - plenty about, or buy Nero
