Question about Samsung CLP 300 Laser Printer

VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN PRINTING WITH MY SAMSUNG CLP-300

My printer started making very loud, banging noises during start up and when printing. I've read thru the posts here and it's not the typical ticking noise associated with the cartridges that most people here have noted. I checked the cartridges and they are all fine with all the gears loose. so I don't think that is the problem. It's very, very loud as if someone is hammering inside the printer. It still prints but with faded colors after it started making the noise. I had this printer for 2 years now and the problem just started a couple of weeks ago. Thanks.

Yes Our is doing all the same things, it's very annoying and loud and it has the blank streak 2" down the middle, I'm not happy with this printer we paid 350.00 and it's junk. unlike injets it has no maintence options. can this be fixed or just throw it away. I did call one service person 100.00 min to fix it i now see you can buy it for 199.00

I have a loud banging sound while printing also. It does not effect the printout just the general serenity of my household while printing. I already have new toner cartridges as well as a new transfer drum assembly. Looking for a maintenance manual so I can take it apart (I service computers for a living). Pretty disappointed that I have to do this after replacing all the consumables.

You all say that the toner cartridge is okay, so it could be the hole OPC Image Drum or the ITB which is the tranfer Belt.
The Tranfer Belt is behind the Image Unit.

So how to you fix the ITB?
How do you know if your brand new imaging drum has a hole?

Clicking noise when printing

Had similar problem. Putting my hands on the front surface of the printer, the click seemed to be felt strongest in front of the pink ink cartridge. I took the cartridge out, looked at the back of it, where there's a little black wheel, and tried turning it. That wheel was stuck (whereas the other colors & the black would turn). Tried printing with the pink cartridge out and no more clicking noise. I guess I'll just replace my pink cartridge. Maybe see if there's a similar problem with one of your cartridges?

Why Samsung CLP-300 Printer making annoying/loud clicking noises?

So try to get the black toner cartridge out of the Machine. On zhe backside of the Cardridge is a gear. Try to turn the gear, maybe the Toner inside is clump together. When you can turn it very easy in both directions it's fine.

Probably worn gears for the rollers along the paper path or the gears that mesh with the imaging roller in the toner cartridge. Remove the toner cartridge and reseat it. Also look for any rounding of the gear teeth on any of the rollers while you have to cartridge out.

When printing, the printer makes a loud sound

I first guess that it is the drum going out. If you have changed the drum......it is more than likely your fuser. Have you ran a supply check to get the status on your supplies?

Noisy operation and black marks on left side of printed paper

vacuum out the waste toner passages that lead from the drum and transfer belt to the waste toner container. Toner is building up inside the transfer belt and/or drum and has no place to go except onto your paper.
