Question about E-Machines eMachines Refurbished EMA SYSTEM BOARD MODEL T2984 eMachines (102257) PC Desktop
Have lost drivers for sound card and need to reinstall them how do i do this?
SOLUTION #1: If you have a driver CD that came with your eMachine, look for the audio folder on the CD. If there is a "setup" program inside this folder, then run it. SOLUTION #2: Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, right click on sound device, choose Update driver, install from list, don't search, have disk, browse to the audio driver location on the driver CD, then okay it. SOLUTION #3: Download the file from the following URL, unzip it, then run the SETUP program inside the folder. http://downloads.emachines.com/drivers/audio/T1140_50_Audio.zip

If those drivers don't work for you, download this (18 MB) file, and save it to your Desktop: http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/dir3/phfilesz/drivers/audio/WDM_A399.exe Once the download is completed, double-click the file (WDM_A399.exe), and it should install the missing audio drivers for you... The main page where you can download ALL the files for the T2984 motherboard is located here: http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/dir1/motherboards/socket478/D845GVSR.shtml If you need other drivers, the main download page is located here: http://www.emachine-upgraders.info/dir1/motherboards/socket478/D845GVSR_downloads.shtml
