hi again and thanks for respopnding.this DP1820 is really giving me a hell of time.i have reset the PM cycle c70 to o and even i tried the optic cycle c86 but no success yet the spanner is still there.please kindly dont tire and give me more hints.kind regards and hope to hear from you soon.bye

Hi Im a Certified Repair technician, I seen few problems with this unit, there is a amplifier module inside this unit, is really hard to find since JBL discontinued this almost immediately.

1. To select the Service Mode
The service mode is selected when ?FUNCTION?, ?ORIGINAL SIZE? and ?3? keys are sequentially
pressed, then F1 will appear in the display.
2.press number 5 to get f5 on the screen then press green start button
3.you should see `c00` on the screen key in 70
the screen should read c70 press green start again
key in 0 and then green start button this should switch off the spanner
2. To exit the Service Mode
The service mode is reset when the ?FUNCTION? and ?CLEAR? keys are pressed simultaneously
Press the diamond button to the left of the display then press number press next until you see number 6 marked configuration then press number2 tcp/ip input your ip and subnet press the #button to set the data cheers dr bob1
