Where can i get a manual for a furuno gp1650 chartplotter

Here is a link for the manual.
http://www.furunousa.com/ProductDocuments/GP1650%20GP1650D%20Operator's%20Manual%20N3.pdf

If the link doesn't work go to furunousa.com and enter unit model number in search bar. Select the unit then select the manuals and documents tab. Operation manual is there and can be viewed and/or downloaded in pdf format.

Congratulations the device is within functionality. As a matter of fact devices without shark lense are least impactful. For example, the device may least capture images or receive data in realtime however provides accurate flight resources.

My furuno chartplotter is out about 2 km on the chart how do i correct this problem it is a furuno 1650wf

Make sure your time offset is correct and also make sure you have not accidentally offset the chart. Also keep in mind that there are places in the charts that you can overzoom which can also cause this problem.

I have been doing some research and I haven’t been able to determine if the Garmin has a compatible output for your Furuno. I can not recommend any service center particularly since I have no idea where you are located, but any good marine shop should be able to help you.

The Furuno uses NMEA Inputs for the GPS, and like I said I haven’t been able to determine if that Garmin uses that as an output. I would suggest that you inspect your installation to determine if there are any cableing between the two units. If no wires connect the two that you can be sure that the units are not communicating.

As far as the chartplotter goes you can buy data cards for them, either on-line or from a good marine supply store.
