I removed the battery leads on a 1999 zx2 in order to clean them. After reattaching them the car whines in the area of the CCRM and the car will crank but not start. Assistance will be appreciated.

Might sound obvious, but make sure the battery terminals are tight and if that doesn't stop the whining it might be the CCRM for the fuel pump. That would be why cranks but not starting. Hope it helps good luck.

2002 ford explorer battery died and after jump start it will not start due to something with the security system... the doors lock and unlock and the car makes this loud clicking noise

Sounds like the battery cables need to be cleaned and or maybe thebattery is getting ready to die. Clean the battery terminals then charge the battery. If the terminals get real corroded it is usually indicated by the clicking sound you have described. Hop it helps and good luck.

I have an E46 which has been in an accident and the passeger door airbags have popped. I turn the key and hear a click from the engine compartment but the engine doesnt turn, something must have switched...

hi i had the same problem,
the problem is that there is a thick wire in your boot and when the airbag deplode themselves at impact the fuse conected to the wire blows and cuts the engine out for safety purposes,

the part of the wire is expensive(200-300£)

a cheaper way is to get a good aut electrician to rewire it then it will start

hope this helps cheers
