Is it better to buy a wire or canvas pet playpen?

Pet playpens are a great way to keep your pet contained in the house but still give them space to play. The wire ones are easier to clean and protect against scratching and chewing and can fold down. But the canvas ones look nicer and are softer and come with mats etc. So your choice should really depend on the type of pet your have and what their needs are.
