Re: I have a problem with my bluetooth H500
You need to full charge both units first before to try them again. YOU MUST KNOW ONE MAIN KEY HERE IS THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET MUST BE IN PAIRING MODE WHICH IS MEAN THAT THE LED MUST IN STANDING MODE NOT IN FLASHING MODE AND WHEN THE LED OF THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET IS IN STANDING MODE, BRING IT CLOSER TO YOUR PHONE AND BE SURE YOUR PHONE BLUETOOTH FEATURE IS ON AND BE RECOGNIZED FROM OTHER DEVICES. Try to restart carefully step by step each device as described above and then if you still can not get them pairing then either on eof them has Bluetooth function impaired. You need to have another Bluetooth Headset to test whether your phone Bluetooth function or the Headset has it. Good Luck
Did u go on..."find me" from the connection menu? That didnt do anything for me. What I did was go on "audio devices" which should be right under "find me". It asks for a pin or a pass code..put either 1234 or 0000.
The answer from Pingping is the best example of BS a read in my life. DO NOT waist any time charging FULLY your devices, they are crap, i just read the return list of bluetooth and the H500 is the worst of its kind. "charging fully" will not change anything except in the mind of the most supid of us... Retunr to the store and get refunded.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hold the power button down approx.
6 seconds until the blue indicator light turns on and remains steadily lit. (The light will flash while you hold the Call button.) If the indicator light is flashing or does not remain steadily lit, turn off the headset and repeat step 1.
Go to your cell phone after you've done the above directions and: Select (Menu) > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth Link > Handsfree > Look for Devices. The phone lists all Bluetooth devices it finds. Select Motorola H500. Press OK or Yes to pair (link) the handsfree device. Enter the passkey 0000 and press OK. Note: Passkey cannot be changed from 0000.
I hope this helps anyone else who's having a problem pairing their Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset :)!!! I just got mine to work w/ the same info!!!
Go to MENU > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > BLUETOOTH LINK > SETUP.
Scroll to power then press change.
Scroll to ON the press select to turn on the bluetooth feature. Bluetooth feature remains ON until it is turned off.
With the headset power off, press and hold the CALL button for 6-10 seconds until the blue light indicator turns on and remains steadily lit. If it does not stay lit, turn off the headset. To turn it off, press and hold CALL button until blue light stops.
While holding the CALL button on the headset, on your phone select MENU > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > BLUETOOTH LINK > HANDS-FREE > LOOK FOR DEVICES. The phone lists all bluetooth devices it finds.
Select Motorola H500.
Press OK or YES to pair the headset with your phone.
Try this link. It solved my issue www.scribd.com/doc/280088/motorola-h500-bluetooth-earpiece-manual. Basically what you need to do is power the earpiece off. Make sure that your IPhone is not currently attempting to discover bluetooth devices (i.e. Bluetooth is OFF). Hold the On button on your earpiece (it has the symbol of a phone on it) for 6-10 seconds. The light on the earpiece remains lit. Now your earpiece is in discovery mode. On your IPhone, go to Settings, General, Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth ON. Now your phone and your earpiece are both in discovery mode. When you see "Headset" listed, select it and enter the password "0000". Your IPhone is now paired with your H500 headset.
1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue. 2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1. 3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device 4.Select H500once a connection is detected. 5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made. 6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".
Tips: 1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset. 2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On". 3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".
please give good rating if the solution works. Thanks for using FixYa.
