When I connect a new Compaq with Vista my monitor keeps going to no signal

Monitor keeps reseting to no signal. Reseting to setup and factory settings and change input to VGA is only solution so far. I am using it as a second dual monitor setup and this is very fustrating to reset every boot up in the mornings. Throw it away or what?

The auxiliary connector could be an input as your Polaroid monitor instructions would indicate. There may be no provision for external speaker connection.

How can i get the computer sounds to play thru the built-in speakers of polaroid flm-1507

You need a cable with mini-phone plug at both ends (Radio Shack), one end is plugged into the monitor audio input jack (Green), the other end will be plugged into the PC audio line out jack (Green).

Polaroid 15" HD Widescreen LCD 1511-TLXB, turn on, stays on for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then screen goes black, no sound, no menu

Do you have to turn it back on with the remote after this?

If so, then you may have set a timer by accident through the menu system.

More information would be required.
