Lift each tripper up and rotate it toward center of dial to set on-off times.
The dial rotates as time passes, and the trippers move lever that turns load on-off.
For example if you have 8601 timer, the dial cycles every 60 minutes or once per hour.
Each tripper represents 1 minute.
So if you want NO terminals turned ON for 2 minutes each hour, then move 2 successive trippers up.
If you want NC terminals turned ON for 58 minutes, then leave 58 successive trippers down.
