No disc I don't have the disc, since I bought the foot pedal separately. Anywhere I can download the driver without paying for another pedal?

This type of machine is usually referred to as a mini sewing machine and as such it is manufactured by the million with minor styling variations and various makers' badges. They all use the same foot control and power adaptor.

The simplest solution is to search for "mini sewing machine foot pedal" or similar on eBay, but don't pay very much because the machines are simply not worth it. They can be bought new for around £50 including accessories and manual etc. I think about a£10 is what you might have to pay but honestly you'd be better off with a second hand full sized machine.

The drivers are available for dell pcs online. You don't have to pay to download drivers. I can give you the download link provided you give me the correct model no. of this pc. I believe you have given me a serial code? Is this a Dell Dimension 2400 model? As for the dvd problem its a problem with the windows operating system you will have to do a repair installation of windows using the disc.

Call Singer at 1-800-4singer and order one. They may supply it for free, and even if they charge it will be worth it because it will be the right one.

My dictation pedal for the Olympus AS-4000 used to work on windows XP, but I upgraded to windows Vista and and the foot pedal no longer works. I have tried it on another XP machine and it works fine, so it can't be the foot pedal.

I have downloaded a patch from the internet, but unfortunately this does not seem to have resolved the issue.

I have contacted olympus twice and they have been very unhelpful.
