Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
I am getting the error "unsupported media type" with all images on my viewty. i can take a picture with the camera, then if I try and view the image I have just taken after exiting the screen after the pic was taken I get the error!!
its really annoying, anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

When you are in the phonebook, click the options box at the bottom left (thing that looks like a little ladder) and scroll down to TEXT INPUT and change the INPUT METHOD to ABC mode.
Hope that helps,

OK, there can just be a couple of reasons why your Viewty is actually acting like this and this is the biggest one: You have to much junk on your memory card and that's why your phone freezes up when you want to go to your documents. Known issue to me that when you have memory card problems, the homescreen wallpapper gets removed, thats when the SD card is not being detected or it has some corrupted files that are affecting your phone when you try to access them and makes your phone shutt off... Big Advise and this will defenetly get rid of your problem: Clean your Memory Card, also and why not clean your internet History, Cookies and Cache. Good Luck, and please treat your Viewty nice, this phone is awesome and deserves better care.

SOURCE: picture sending
sometimes you have to send a picture to your own phone for it to work properly,i know it sounds daft but i had to do it with mine and it has worked properly ever since, might not work but it is worth a try, hope this works for you

This is a software fault with the phone - restore your phone back to factory setting OR do a master reset on the phone (all data will be erased) and that might troubleshoot the issue otherwise take your phone back to Verizon and they will either fix the phone or replace it with another one.
