there is no possible way to remotely restart a tablet but there is a way to do it press and hold the power key for about five seconds and this will force the tablet to turn off or reboot the android system and it should be fine however if it freezes again this can be an issue with the android system itself and the tablet will need to be reset (resetting android for some tablets: press and hold the power and volume down (or volume up) key and this will boot to recovery mode for some others say like samsung press the power volume up (or down) along with the home key to go into recovery mode)
And to reset it you had to the following: You hold the power button and -vol button together for about 5 seconds.
Then you let go of the power button and keep the -vol button still held until the android creature loads and gives you some options.
Choose factory/data reset using volume keys.
