THE LIGHT WILL NOT COME ON WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED AND THE DRYER WILL NOT STOP WITH THE DOOR OPEN

The dryer has a switch in the door that is activated when the door is opened/closed, replace this switch or check the connector to it or the wiring.

with your door open have some one try and turn the dryer on while you hold the button in and turn the drum by hand to get it started.
if it starts the your motor may just have lint build up around it causing the contacts to be dirty.
there is a couple of other things that might have gone wrong the main control board has gone bad or the door switch, motor has gone out

Just stopped working still has power-inside light comes on and timer makes noise when you turn dial but does not start when you push start button

This sounds like the door switch. But it could also be the non-resettable thermal fuse inside. Open the door, depress the door switch until it clicks, and while holding it in see if the dryer starts.

I have a kenmore dryer, bought used, and it was working good but it now wont turn on. The light inside comes on when the door is opened, but no matter what the setting, it wont start. It's the Kenmore 70 series, front loading electric dryer. Is there a fuse or reset button I can try?

Dryer does not turn on

Sounds like the motor relay is not functioning. Sometimes the motor will work if the button is pushed but will stop when the button is released. This is caused by a loose wire at the motor or a bad motor relay.
