If it's new then it should still be under warranty, I would bring it back and ask for an exchange or have them find a place that does warranty work on it. Once you perform anything on it your self that could void out any warranty there is on the equipment. If there is no warranty then I may be able to help you further.

I have a 93 Ford F150 4.9 liter. And when I go to start it the fuel pump stays running for close to four minutes and then it will not start until the fuel pump shuts off?

OK, when you turn the key to on, it will start the pump for about 2 seconds-this is just to put pressure in the lines and in the fuel rail for easy starting. If key is not turned to start, pump will shut off after 2 seconds. But when cranking in start, and when engine is running, the pump is on full time.
If your pump runs longer than 2 seconds with key only in on position, you have a fuel circuit problem. It very well could be a bad fuel pump relay staying on. Or it could be a computer problem signaling the relay to stay on longer. Try a new fuel pump relay first and see if that was the problem.

Hooked my new Frigidaire gallery edition refrigerator water then power. Let it run for about twenty minutes! Tried to purge water, display went black dispenser light stayed on.

Dispensers are not made to stay on that long. (2 minutes) You may have burned out the dispenser coil but it should not be related to the display going blank unless of course the twenty minutes also burned out the low voltage and the relay that controls the water valves that is on the control board.

Super s overflow hose makes awlful sputtering noises every twenty minutes

Thats because they have the air pump set to run every 20 minutes to inject into to the tank. When this happens the unit will run to drain slightly while the pump is cycling causing the "spitting" of water.

it seems you have a leak in your fuell pump.can you see many bubbles if you put the fuell line in a bottle and start.
also check air filter and gas filter.leaks in fuell pump is hardly not to see whit naked eye.thats why use a transparent bottle.

30 horse power '88 Mariner motor won't stay started

If you have portable tanks, some have screens under the coupler assembly. They could be dirty. If you have more than one tank, you could switch out on the water. Make sure the bubble pump is hard and full of gas. It is not uncommon for some outboards to need choking to start even when warm. This is an updraft carburetor characteristic.

Check the EGR valve. If this valve stays open all the time like it sounds like it is you will have all these problems you are talking about, also with the glowing of the intake would make even more since

Hello,i have just bought the D40 kit,and i,m very pleased with so far.the problem i have is trying to keep the menu screen on for longer.it only stays on for about 8 seconds.how do i get it to stay on...

If you haven't already done so, go to the Setup menu (the wrench). Under CSM/Setup Menu, select Full.

Now go to the Custom Settings menu (the pencil). Find Auto off Timers. Long will display image review for twenty seconds. Custom will let you set it for as long as ten minutes.

This is all under "Menu Guide" in the D40 manual.
