Question about Coleman Powermate 7,000 Watt 13 Hp Portable Generator #PM0497000
I purchased this unit at Sam's club one year ago. Started it and realized it had no voltage output. After reading the manual, I believed my problem was that the generator needed to be re-excited. Today, one year later, I called them to ask for proper procedure and they told me that my unit was different that the one shown in the manual and mine doesn't ever need to be excited. Anyone have the same problem and if so, what part needed to be replaced. I ask this because the company went bankrupt in March. Just my luck.
Demand sams take it back, or give you a working one. They sold it, they need to handle their end of the deal. If they don't back there product, put it in the news.
