dont worry its not you its EA they have trouble with there servers some times, its nothing big but when BATTLEFIELD 3 or 2 came out EA's server was down for 2 WEEKS yah i said it 2 WEEKS, so dont stress it will connect eventualy maybe not today but keep a check in on it and if you dont beleave me look up EA reviews on there servers lol hope this helps bud, jamie
Does this happen with other games/servers? If so, it may be your network connection. Try resetting it.
If it's only happening with the EA server, you might want to call the EA Tech Support. This is their number: 650-628-4322
If you have an Xbox live "Silver" account all you can do is talk to your friends, it will not allow you to play games with them. If you have a "Gold" account it will allow you to do both and download content etc. It will tell you what type of account you have in "my xbox" under your avatar. This could be your problem. The other problem could be that this is the busiest weekend of the year for Madden due to the Super Bowl. I think the problem is going to be your subscription status being silver instead of gold.
to sign in to ea servers you have to be 13. I am 14 but i used my sister's e-mail and it thinks i'm like 12. it really annoys me, why do they make it so you have to be 13 anyway i don't know. It might not be your age i don't know but that's what happened with me.
I had the same problem where I'm logged into XBox Live and I couldn't get into the EA servers to play any EA games. This is what worked for me:
1. Hit the XBox button and Log out of XBox live. 2. Go to the Settings tab and select System Settings. 3. Choose Console Settings then Clock. 4. Choose Daylight Savings and set this to OFF and back out. 5. Log back into XBox Live and the time will be set automatically. 6. Start you EA Game and Have Fun!!!
