Question about Maxtor OneTouch II external hard drive 300GB 7,200 RPM - USB (E04H300)
I do some work for my son he bought a Maxtor External hard drive, which I have uninstalled and then reinstalled. I follow all the instructions on the CD Rom. When I have successfully installed the programme nothing happens when I press the set up button. Any ideas
Seagte purchased Maxtor in 2006. They kept the group that supported these products intact. Check Seagate's support site for specific information and/or contact Seagate's support group. They should be able to help you. The website is: http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/ As a last resort, you can get a free replacement from Seagate via their warranty repair group. They track via serial numbers, so no receipts should be needed.
