Question about Sharp EL-1701C Calculator

# Setting tax %

I need to set the tax % and would appreciate a copy of a manual for my Sharp EL1701C Calculator as I received it second hand without one. Thank-you

I Finally figured it out after playing with it for almost 1/2 an hour!

Hit 2nd then Tax + (rate set) it will appear as 0.000 enter your tax rate... mine is 5% so I enter 5.0 then hit 2nd and Tax + (rate set again) And it will work!

It is glorious!!!

### Set tax

To set your tax rate:

1. Be sure to switch to "rate set" from GT
2. Enter the tax amount like so - if your tax rate is 7% type in 7%
3. Go back to the GT setting and it should work...at least that is how I fixed mine! I did the same thing last week & have no manual!

Hope this helps you
