Question about Xerox Phaser 8550DT Thermal Printer

I have an error which popped up on my xerox 8550 Phaser. 09,035.43:117277. Xerox is offering absolutely no support and I cannot find anything on the internet of any assistance.

That is an ink loader fault. The ,43 means your cyan,( blue ) ink stick has not slid down into the ink loader properly.
Look in where you load the ink, you will find that one of the sticks is cracked, twisted or just isn't advancind down properly.
If you eed to remove them, take a screw, a drywall type screw is the best, twist the screw into the ink stick and slide it back and out.
But that is your problem, simply a stuck ink stick.
If you have an ink stick in the machine from another phaser printer model, they are all shaped differtently and may not hit the switch in the ink loader.

My Phaser 8500 will not print and has error 08,045,43:75066 - Anyone know what this means?


The Xerox support site indicates there is a paper jam to the printer, so you should check the paper tray, front and exit cover for any jammed paper then power off and back on the printer. The onlty thing I can find close to this is.
Acording to the manual its a ink loader error like your loading the wrong type of ink like the puzzles pieces arent matching and hitting the sensor flags right. Yours by the 8 is referring to the black ink. Anyway go to troubleshooting on the control panel. then to service tools. when in service tools press and hold the up arrow while still pressing the up arrow press the down arrow. the display should say hidden menus. go to diagnostic mode press enter go to funtion menu. then go to clear ISC fault and enter. ISC=ink stick count fault. I hope that helps. Just to let you know Ive had nothing but problems with third party ink and once its in the system its hard to get out so I would watch what im doing with my expensive equipment

Xerox phaser 8550 prints garbled characters


This happens to mine occasionally after I have put it into standby a few times. If I reboot this always sorts it out.

Hi,

This means the Yellow ink sticks are jammed in the machine, open up the top of the machine and check if the sticks can slide freely up and down and remove any broken sticks.

19,003.48 Scale and offset voltage error too large. Something is wrong with the Electronics Module or Wave Amplifier.

that is pretty straight forward. More then likely the elsctronics module has failed. Wave amplifier is pretty unlikely.
If you do not have a maintenance agreement or under warranty, that is a very expensive module to replace.
Check @ 1-800-835-6100 to see if you are under warranty or have coverage.

Phaser 8550 cyan doesn't print


If you go to the Xerox.com site and click support and drivers. enter phaser 8550 and there is a printhead update you need to get, You have to fill out a form.
That may be your problem since there is no fault code.

Call Xerox, they have a problem with this code and the ink loader needs to be updated.
It has to do with the yellow sicks loading properly
