Hi you never mentioned wheather the paint is gloss, emulsion etc?
if its emulsion it should be fine paste the border, draw some guide lines where you want the border to go so when you come to put it on you will know where it has to go, wipe it over with a damp sponge to get the excess paste off it, otherwise when it dries you will see the residue of the paste.
You can get border adhesive which is really good.

Good luck

Can you use ultra white paint as a primer on a wall before painting it?

Not recommended, especially if the ultra white paint is anything but "flat." Primer is designed specifically to adhere to other paints. Look into KILZ primer (if it is available where you are), as I have found it to provide excellent coverage for color changes.

When aplying fresh paint with roller paint is peeling back of with roller

what is the substrate? (plaster, drywall, painted surface.... etc.)
if the surface is painted: can you tell the generic type of paint used before? and what is the condition of the existing paint, is it chalky? did you try to sand it?
if so, you might need to sand it and remove all flaking and chalking paint prior to application of a new coat. you might also need a compatible primer for best results.

WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO I USE TO PAINT A FOOTBALL HELMET?

Clean well/ dry completely. Lightly sand with a fine grade of sandpaper, apply either Fusion" spray paint by Sherwin Williams (Krylon) . It does a great job sticking to plastic without primer, and also has a durable finish. The finish is glossy, but not with much depth. To achieve that deeper wet look, add a coat or two of Krylon's Gloss Polyurethane.

A newly painted wall looks splochy, shinny in some spots and dull in others.

I would hope that you had the paint mixed well before putting it on and that the entire wall was done in one event. Also it would be of help to have primed the existing paint first.

How could i put a glitters with my wall at my facebook

  • SPRAY CLEAR GLITTER ON DRY WALLS -- Go to your local craft store and pick up a couple cans of spray glitter. You want a clear base so you can keep your current wall color. Look for a spray that says something like clear glitter finish or clear glitter sealer. Then just spray your walls with the clear glitter spray.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS WITH GLITTER SPRAY PAINT -- If you want to change the color of your walls you can spray paint them with colored glitter spray paint so you get the painting and glitter done in one easy step. However, spray paint can be expensive and you may find it is difficult to get a nice even coat of paint. So this method would be good for a small room or an accent wall.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS THEN ADD GLITTER -- This is the cheapest way to get the glittery look you want. Buy your wall paint in the color of your choice. Then buy tubes of glitter in the craft section. As you paint your walls, do one small section at a time. Then pour out a bit of glitter on a paper plate and gently blow on the glitter so it blows onto the freshly painted wall. The glitter will stick to the wet paint. Then move on to the next section and do the same thing! If you are applying two coats of paint to your walls add the glitter to the second coat.

Yellow Spots on Bathroom ceiling/walls after showers

You will have to paint over your new paint with a primer called BIN which will dry in about an hour. Then you can put your color coat on that. Problem solved.
